About Us The Ocean Lodge at 3 Park Road has been running as Bed & Breakfast accommodation for 6 years and was formerly known as Oxford Lodge. We decided after much deliberation to change the name and repaint the outside in October 2008, mainly due to the similarity in name with our next door neighbours, Oxford House. We took over from Liz and Wayne Taylor in February 2008 bringing with us from Yorkshire 2 of our sons, Sam and Oliver and not forgetting our 3 year old Labrador, Molly. Our eldest son, Josh decided to stay in Harrogate with his job. Colin had owned and run fish and chip shops for the last 28 years, whilst Sue had worked in catering for 7 years before re-training to work with adults with learning disabilities. We discovered Swanage 8 years ago whilst holidaying with our 3 children and had been back every year since, finally deciding to take the plunge and move lock, stock and barrel last year. Our aim is to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, and we always strive to give our guests the best possible service we can at the Ocean Lodge.
